Heavy Load by Darryl Boddy  SOLD

Maintain the Scotsman by Darryl Boddy sold

We have painted all of these paintings this week and you may click on the links if you wish to buy one. The painting is going very well and we are selling all of our work. Last week we sent paintings to Qatar in the Middle East and this week one will go to America. I am getting some good feedback on the paintings and this week a lady contacted me who'd seen a painting on a friends wall to say how much she liked my work and she then went on to purchase a painting. This is really nice as so many artists struggle to sell.
I have been poorly for a couple of days so I am a day late in updating and so I am sorry for that and it is also impacting on my ability to paint. Hope to get back in the swing soon.
I like to talk a bit about other artists in the blog and this week I will chat about Norman Akroid who  does etchings of landscapes. He was born into a family of Butchers who laughed at him for wanting to pursue a career in the art world. Thankfully he did not listen, went to art school and now does what he loves for a living. Isn't it true that if you find a job you like you never have to do a days work in your life?

Any way for me I am glad that we are able to sell our work as the money has helped pay for my Psychology degree course, given us money to spend on holidays and at times we have had to use it to pay the bills. Art is a great gift and for many years I did not dare to try and sell but painted
for friends or family as a gift and it gave me great pleasure to do so. I  have been encouraged to put my art out in the world and the response I am getting is just lovely. Thanks for looking  and there will be more art next week
