Hi blog readers, just one painting to share this week as I have been working on a commision which I am enjoying, Another beach scene and here it is.
Walking dogs on the beach by Carolyn Boddy
                                                sold

Apart from painting this week I have socialised a bit with old friends that I worked with years ago and that was fun and I felt like I was 20 again just for a while. I enjoyed a day out in Buckingham yesterday with my family where I looked around a little antiques market and sat by the river for a while in the sunshine. Buckingham is really a very pretty town that might find its way into my paintings sometime soon.
Looking at the Blog views this week I am thrilled to see that I have readers from Columbia, Italy and Pakistan. It's really nice that my art is being seen across the world thanks to the internet.

Another  Artist that I would like to share this week is George Bellows who died in 1925 aged 42 from peritonitis . I love this painting because of the movement in it.You can almost hear the hooves of the horse.

He is very famous for painting boxing matches which is how I got to notice him( My Husband is a big boxing fan). He found that Vanity fair magazine did a large write up and printed many of his paintings in 1920. If you would like to see more of him have a google in images or visit the Royal Academy in London until the 9th of June.We are going to go, Definately!
If you like this weeks work, click on the link to buy and have a look next week for more art from myself and other artists. Thanks for looking.
